The Director and Founder of Miss Milburn's Tuition brings over 20 years of teaching experience. With a background that includes Achievement and Assessment Lead and a previous Assistant Head, they have a wealth of experience in the UK education system.
Their qualifications include Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a BSc (Hons) degree in Science, a Master's in Education specialising in maths mastery, and a Masters in Business. Additionally, they have earned the National Professional Qualification in Senior Leadership (NPQSL) and have experience working with exam boards, including NFER, OCR and the Department for Education.
This extensive expertise ensures a high-quality, tailored tutoring experience for every student.

I offer maths and English tuition to children of primary school age and ensure my lessons are fun and engaging whilst being tailored to the needs of each child. This has given me the knowledge, understanding and experience of the range of social, emotional, and academic needs of all young people. I’m an experienced, friendly and supportive English teacher teaching for over twenty years. I specialise in working with a wide range of students from years 7-11, and I also have experience teaching 11+. I have worked with a variety of student needs from SEN learners to teaching reluctant or anxious students. I deliver lessons using creative resources to help engage learners and ensure students learn a wide range of strategies to support and extend their progress in English Language and English Literature. Each lesson will be tailored to your child’s individual learning style, and we will work at the appropriate pace to build their confidence.
